Many laminate products – often supplied in “roll” form - will have gone through a trimming and/or cutting process near the end of the production sequence. In those cases where the mechanical or thermal cutting process produces particulates or fume there will be a need for air quality control to maintain in house hygiene. If the product is metallic (e.g. steel strip) the cutting may be thermal in which case metallic fume will be produced and must be drawn away and filtered. AAF OptiFlo RC is ideal.
