AAF offers five types of side access ASHRAE filter housings for use with air handling equipment. All five air filter housings offer the convenience of servicing the filters from outside the air duct. All five types were designed  for HVAC installations with limited headroom. AAF side access housings provide filter sealing integrity. They meet IAQ air cleaning requirements when used with AAF high-efficiency IAQ-engineered filters. Side Access Housing for HEPA Filters
Designed to meet the stringent requirements of HEPA filter applications, AstroSeal Type S housings are engineered to perform reliably even in the toughest environments. If you are specifying HEPA level filtration efficiencies you should also specify a housing good enough to match the air filter.
