Flexible Design

AAF's Universal Holding Frames can be used individually, or may be combined to fit virtually any size filter bank. The frames are available in 18-gauge galvanized steel, 18-gauge 304 stainless steel, or 16-gauge aluminized steel. All frames feature holes on each side for bolting or riveting into filter banks. The 3” deep (nominal) frame will support all standard combinations of pre- and final filters.

High Performance in Tough Operating Conditions

The galvanized steel frames have factory-installed PVC gaskets to ensure a proper seal between the frame and filter and minimize dirty air by-pass (all standard sizes are also available without gaskets). The frames also offer increased resistance to corrosion and longer service life in corrosive environments. They are available with factory-installed EPDM gaskets (all standard sizes are also available without gaskets).

Reliable High Temperature Operation

The aluminized steel holding frame is designed for high temperature applications. When constructed without a gasket, the aluminized frame will tolerate temperatures up to 900°F, making it ideal in filtration systems for paint-curing ovens. The aluminized steel frame is also available with factory-installed EPDM gaskets.

The Universal Holding Frames are designed to use either the Universal Holding Latches or the Knock-on style holding latches. Seven standard sizes are available (WxH): 24 x 24, 20 x 25, 20 x 20, 16 x 25, 16 x 20, 20 x 24, and 12 x 24.
