AAF Dare to Care Volunteer Group

AAF® Dares to Care

AAF is committed to serving the communities where we live and work, so the AAF team in Louisville was excited to be offered the opportunity to volunteer for local food bank, Dare to Care, at their Senior Commodity Warehouse. This warehouse is responsible for fulfilling thousands of food boxes that are distributed monthly to many seniors throughout the community who are in need of food assistance. In most cases, due to lack of income and support, these food boxes are the senior's only source of food. To support this imperative cause, the AAF volunteers spent the day packing the boxes with nutritious items such as milk, juice, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, chicken and peanut butter that will be supplemented with fresh fruits, vegetables, bread and cheese. The participants really got into the giving spirit and had fun teaming up to assemble as many boxes as possible. Thank you to Dare to Care for giving us the opportunity to support this all too important effort and for continuing to serve the hungry in our community.
