For melting using cupolas or induction furnaces, AAF offer bag filter installations whose design is based on existing AAF® installations with proven long-term reliable performance and low cost of ownership. For shake-out and sand handling, AAF can offer either Fabric Filters or the reliable RotoClone® N wet scrubber often with a mechanical sludge ejector. Recent development work now enables the RotoClone to work at a higher scrubbing pressure, allowing the unit to meet stringent emission limits. Where conditions permit it, a bag filter option is also available for sand plant operations. For ancillary operations such as dressing, fettling or burning the cost effective OptiFlo® RC is the usual choice.
