Air quality issues arise both in plastic manufacture and in downstream manufacturing processes where plastic raw materials are used in forming products. Dust, gasses and mists often provide a challenge to designers aiming to achieve the best solution for in-plant hygiene problems. Special circumstances exist where very low density plastics are involved, e.g. expanded polystyrene, where extremely bulky dusts and static charge issues must be coped with. Fortunately AAF can choose from a very wide range of in-house filtration technologies. AAF also has decades of practical experience to draw upon when offering the most effective solution.
