Type W RotoClone
 Wet Centrifugal Collector

The Type W RotoClone is a combination dust collector and fan that will meet a variety of applications.  In addition to being versatile, the Type W is the most cost-effective, high efficiency wet dust collector in its class. The distinguishing feature of the Type W is the addition of water sprays to the basic principle of dynamic precipitation. The spray maintains a flowing film of water on all collecting surfaces which: 

  • Minimizes water requirements   
  • Traps even light and fine dust particles   
  • Delivers collected dust in slurry form for easy disposal   
  • Serves as an excellent exhaust and fire barrier in restaurant and fast-food applications (Factory Mutual approved)
Typical Applications
  • Food Processing: cereal, flour, rice, salt, soy bean, cocoa, candy coating, sugar, and many more. 
  • Industries: paper, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, plastics, tobacco, fiberglass, ceramics, coal, fertilizer. 
  • Processes: dryers, cookers, crushing, grinding, spraying (pill coating, ceramic glazing), ventilation (bin vents, dumping operations). 
  • Material Handling: transfer stations, mixing, dumping, packaging. 

Type W RotoClone provides everything you need, except duct connections, in one complete, shop-assembled package: high efficiency collector; exhauster; motor; and drive. The Type W is available in 12 sizes from 1,000 to 50,000 CFM. For heavy dust concentrations, a precleaner is used. The precleaner removes the bulk of the dust, either wet or dry, leaving only the fine particulate to be collected by the RotoClone.
