The AAF Chamber Mute is an acoustically effective cylindrical silencer utilizing reactive design to ensure maximum attenuation with a minimum pressure drop.  Providing broad band attenuation, the Chamber Mute is particularly effective for silencing noise generated by engines, reciprocating compressors, and vacuum pumps.

Tubular Mute

Cylindrical Silencers
The AAF Tubular Duct Mute, Type TDM or TDM-P, is an acoustically effective cylindrical silencer using an absorptive annular flow design to provide high attenuation with minimum associated pressure loss.  The Tubular Duct Mute Type TDM-8L is an acoustically effective cylinder silencer using an absorptive, straight-through design providing high-frequency silencing at minimum pressure loss.
