Gas Turbine Inlet Air Filter Houses

AAF Inlet Filtration System
Designed to operate in specific environments, AAF offers a wide range of filter houses and air filters for gas turbines and other rotating machinery. Gas turbine performance is negatively impacted by inlet airflow restrictions. A high-efficiency air filtration system can improve turbine performance by reducing compressor blade fouling. Modular construction means custom and standard designs are available in self-cleaning, reverse-pulse, barrier, upflow, crossflow, and downflow models. Engineered for fast and easy on-site erection, AAF filter houses can be configured to meet any application requirement including multi-stage filters with extremely low pressure drop.

Filtration systems are required to reduce corrosion of the compressor air path, reduce corrosion in the hot gas area, for weather protection, for noise control, and to maintain the appropriate inlet air temperature. Effective management of gas turbine inlet air quality and temperature is often the most economical option to increase power, reduce heat rate, and extend component life.

Extensive experience in the design and application of gas turbines and other rotating machinery position us uniquely to deliver a total system or other air treatment enhancement.
