Cyclones
Use the AAF Cyclone as your primary collector with or without the optional after filter, for dusts of moderate to coarse particle size. The AAF cyclone will remove up to 99% (by weight) of dust generated by steel grinding and sawdust. Use it as a pre-cleaner for any of AAF’s more efficient final collectors such as the ArrestAll, OptiFlo or Design M FabriPulse. By reducing the dust load on the higher efficiency final filter, a more economical final filter may be selected and a longer filter life can be obtained. AAF offers 11 basic selections to handle air flows from 800 cfm to 12,000 cfm. These are sized to deal with the majority of small to medium industrial dust collection applications.

OptiFlo® HP Series
The OptiFlo HP dust collector is recommended for use as a product receiver in high pressure, high dust load applications such as high pressure product conveying. The OptiFlo HP will handle vacuum pressures up to 8.67 inches of mercury (4.259 psig or 118.11 inches H2O). The OptiFlo HP can be used for filtering fumes and dusts in mechanical, chemical or pharmaceutical applications. Contaminated air enters at the bottom of the unit and due to the rapid decrease in velocity and the first stage diffuser, the larger particles fall into the dust collection bin. The finer or lighter particles flow through the unit, where the cartridge filters are located, and are captured with 99.5% efficient cartridges. Pulsed cleaning is accomplished by diaphragm valves controlled by a choice of PLC or automatic timer. The OptiFlo HP is available in 12 sizes to accommodate airflows between 880 CFM and 12,000 CFM.
