OptiFlo® Downdraft Bench

The AAF OptiFlo Downdraft Bench (Model DDB) is the ideal air cleaning solution for those workbench tasks that produce airborne dust, particles, and fume. The OptiFlo DDB is ideal for collecting dust produced by cutting, finishing, sanding, de-burring, grinding, buffing, polishing, soldering, and light welding.  The OptiFlo DDB offers a choice of two large work surfaces. The Model DDB5 has an actual work surface that measures 29 inches deep by 5 feet wide, while the Model DDB7 is a generous 29 inches deep by 7 feet wide.  The OptiFlo DDB can be used for single or multiple workstations. OptiFlo® HP Series

The OptiFlo HP dust collector is recommended for use as a product receiver in high pressure, high dust load applications such as high pressure product conveying. The OptiFlo HP will handle vacuum pressures up to 8.67 inches of mercury (4.259 psig or 118.11 inches H2O).  The OptiFlo HP can be used for filtering fumes and dusts in mechanical, chemical or pharmaceutical applications. Contaminated air enters at the bottom of the unit and due to the rapid decrease in velocity and the first stage diffuser, the larger particles fall into the dust collection bin. The finer or lighter particles flow through the unit, where the cartridge filters are located, and are captured with 99.5% efficient cartridges.  Pulsed cleaning is accomplished by diaphragm valves controlled by a choice of PLC or automatic timer.  The OptiFlo HP is available in 12 sizes to accommodate airflows between 880 CFM and 12,000 CFM.
