The FM2-LE is a self-contained fan/filter module for cleanroom applications. It can be used to upgrade existing cleanrooms or to convert existing space into a cleanroom without additional ductwork or air handling equipment. The modules can be used in most conventional ceiling grids or may be suspended independently by four eyebolt support points.

Air circulation is maintained by using a lightweight, backward curved impeller powered by a 115V, 60Hz motor. The speed of the impeller can be adjusted by the solid-state speed control mounted on top of the housing. The housing is made from 16-gauge aluminum, with an expanded metal faceguard on the downstream side. Attached to the module by spring latches, AAF’s AstroCel II HEPA filter provides 99.99% efficiency on 0.3 μm particles . The prefilter to the module is AAF’s 1” PerfectPleat M8.

FM2-LE modules are available in 2' x 2', 2' x 3', and 2' x 4' sizes with a variety of options.
