Exhaust Systems
Gas turbine exhaust systems must perform four functions: reduce noise to the atmosphere, vent hot gases away from personnel, minimize backpressure to gas turbines, and mechanically well during extreme temperature changes. AAF’s engineering staff has the capabilities to generate designs to satisfy these requirements by use of structural and stress analyses, three dimensional modeling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) studies, finite element analysis (FEA), vibration analysis and acoustical software programs.
