American Air Filter procurement personnel are dedicated to upholding the principles and standards of the purchasing profession. Our group uses the following rules as published by the Institute for Supply Management as their standard:

4) We do not solicit or accept money, loans, credis, or prejudicial discounts, or gifts, entertainment, favors, or services from present or potential suppliers that might influence, or appear to influence, purchasing decisions.

5) We always handle confidential or proprietary information belonging to employers or suppliers with due care and proper consideration of ethical and legal ramifications and governmental regulations.

6) We promote positive supplier relationships through courtesy and impartiality in all phases of the purchasing cycle.

7) We do not participate in reciprocal agreements that restrict competition.

8) We know and obey the letter and spirit of laws governing the purchasing function and remain alert to the legal ramifications of purchasing decisions.

9) We encourage all segments of society to participate by demonstrating support for small, disadvantaged, and minority-owned businesses.

10) We are not involved in employer-sponsored programs of personal purchases that are not business related.

11) We strive to enhance the proficiency and stature of the purchasing profession by acquiring and maintaining current technical knowledge and the highest standards of ethical behavior.

12) We conduct international purchasing in accordance with the laws, customs, and practices of foreign countries, consistent with United States laws, our organization policies, and these Ethical Standards and Guidelines.

To begin the process of becoming a potential supplier to American Air Filter, a completed supplier questionnaire must be submitted to the appropriate buyer for review.  The links below provide both a Word and and .pdf file link for your use.

As a prerequisite for consideration, you are required to review our  standard terms and conditions for all purchases and our standard non-disclosure agreement. This agreement is required prior to any plant visits or product development disucussions.
