Regarding the proposed acquisition for O.Y.L. Industries, Bhd, located at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, announced on May 18, 2006, Daikin Industries, Ltd. has obtained the approvals from governmental regulatory authorities from Malaysia (MITI and SC) and the U.S. governmental competition authorities. The approval from European Commission is under examination regarding the European necessary procedures.
